Job Summary
The Forestry Data Collector is a key member of the Urban Forest Renewal team, contributing to the planning, implementation and inspection of various planting programs aimed at increasing the urban forest canopy across the City of Toronto.
Major Responsibilities include conducting site visits, collecting data related to tree planting, monitoring tree health, identifying planting sites, and performing pest surveys.
The role requires experience with tree planting, identification of tree stresses, using GIS tools, and strong communication skills to interact with staff and the public.
