** Highlandpalmshc is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients, collaborate with healthcare teams, and provide ongoing training for facility staff. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree, be licensed to practice, and possess strong communication and supervisory skills. **

Job Summary

  • The Staff Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients, communicates with families, physicians and other health team members and maintains documentation of services in the medical records.
  • Supervises Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), aides and students.
  • The essential functions of this position require the ability to exert in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and or excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or excess of 20 pounds of force constant to move objects.
