  • generate harness system block diagrams and wire diagrams
  • prepare harness assembly instructions and test procedures
  • own end-to-end of electrical wiring and interconnect system
  • ensure design meets system-level electrical requirements
  • perform electrical trade studies for wire gauge, shielding
  • analyze and mitigate electrical risks
  • apply knowledge of SWaP for power, network systems

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • 5+ years hands-on experience designing electrical harnessing
  • Experience working directly with harness manufacturers
  • Familiarity with common electrical bus interfaces
  • Familiar with existing applicable harness standards
  • Experience reading wire block interconnect diagrams
  • Must be eligible to receive a US Security Clearance
