Job Summary

  • Responsible for the Respiratory care clinical leadership and management of the selected service lines, including program development, performance improvement activities, clinical quality monitoring and ensuring positive physician relationships.
  • Functions as a resource to staff and is actively involved in department operations, supervising the daily operations and staff of the Respiratory Care department.
  • Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.

Key Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Respiratory Care
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Current State of Texas RCP license
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • Certified in Basic Life Support
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience
  • Five (5) years of critical care experience
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • NICU experience
