Must-have

  • Operate Class Three flat deck truck
  • Bulk and separate hazardous waste
  • Create WHMIS compliant labels
  • Prepare containers for shipment
  • Maintain waste yard and equipment
  • Operate vehicles in mine environment
  • Safety-sensitive role with physical duties

Nice-to-have

  • Forklift and skid steer certifications
  • Hazardous waste experience
  • Oil sand site experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Commitment to environmental responsibility

Key Requirements

  • Valid Class Three Driver’s License with airbrake endorsement
  • Minimum three years commercial driving experience
  • Clean driver’s abstract
  • Successful Class Three vehicle driver’s evaluation
  • Valid CSO or OSSA BSO or CSTS-09 and OSSA Regional certificates
  • Eligibility to work at Oil Sand sites in Wood Buffalo
  • Clearance on pre-employment drug, alcohol, hearing and physical tests
  • Physically fit for job duties
