As a Curriculum Advisor you’ll be at the forefront of educational change, working directly with schools, kura and early learning services in your region to implement curriculum and assessment and aromatawai changes.
You will be part of a regional team using the Curriculum Advisory Service to support schools, kura and early learning services to implement the knowledge rich curriculum using effective practices to that it has the intended impact for learners.
Te Mahau | Te Tai Runga (South) are frontline groups that collectively provide leadership and integrated services to the sector and others, including learning support and education advice.

Salary
Base: $100,296 - $121,490 NZD per annum; Bonus/Equity: Not specified; Benefits: 3% KiwiSaver

knowledge of National Curriculum
supporting professional learning
leading curriculum and assessment change
strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
willingness to commute in Southland region
Nice-to-have
familiarity with te ao Māori
understanding of Te Reo and tikanga Māori
experience with diverse communities
coaching and motivating educators
diplomacy skills

Key Requirements
full current NZ driver licence
proven experience in curriculum leadership
deep understanding of science of learning
effective teaching practices expertise
familiarity with Te Reo and tikanga Māori for Māori Medium settings
