Essential duties include assisting the Director of Nursing in directing nursing activities, participating in policy development, ensuring compliance with procedures, and managing personnel functions.
The role requires providing direct nursing care as necessary, monitoring medication passes, inspecting treatment areas, and participating in staff development and safety programs.
