Job Summary
Assist in the planning, organization and implementation of meaningful programs for the residents, in collaboration with the Recreation Manager & Executive Director.
Maintains effective communication and good human relations with residents, families, volunteers and staff of other departments, keeping them informed of current and upcoming events.

Key Requirements
Post-secondary diploma, degree or certificate in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, kinesiology, gerontology or related field
Skills and experience in a health care or similar setting
Knowledge and demonstrated experience in program planning, care planning, resident assessments, implementation, and evaluation for geriatric population
Experience with an older adult population an asset
