Job Summary

• The main responsibility is to support and drive R&D Engineering activities including specification, procurement, installation, validation and implementation of new equipment, including molding & mold tooling for the development and manufacture of new products or new processes at the Alcon Ireland site.
• A typical day to day would be to Assist R&D Engineering in the specification, design and procurement of new equipment, Support R&D Engineering process development, characterization and optimization activities, and Assist R&D Engineering in all aspects of Validation document generation and execution.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 3 - 5 years previous experience
• Preferred : 5+ years’ experience
• Level 7 qualification in an Engineering or Technical discipline
• Familiarity with robotics, PLCs, vision systems
• Good understanding of networks and basic troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with Veeva, Maximo and Teamcenter
• Knowledge of ISO, FDA, GMP standards
