GE HealthCare UK is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to create mechanical and electromechanical designs for products. The ideal candidate should have experience with CAD software and a strong design background to develop reliable and cost-effective solutions

Job Summary

  • Utilizing 3D solid modeling tools and analysis, you will contribute to the design, development, and definition of products, parts, tooling, component solutions, and system solutions.
  • Create definitions of parts, modules, and assemblies through 2D drawings, 3D models, tolerance stack-ups, and various electronic data formats to support analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, and inspection.
  • Apply GD&T and established design standards to produce highly accurate models, drawings, bills of materials, and related product specifications for successful product release and transfer to manufacturing.
