** AIG is seeking a Supervisor Accountant for their reinsurance area in Mexico, responsible for overseeing accounting functions, regulatory reporting, and supporting audits. The ideal candidate should have 3-6 years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage financial reporting in compliance with both US and local GAAP. **

Job Summary

  • This position will oversee and manage the accounting functions of the reinsurance area for the submission of Regulatory Reports to the local Insurance regulator, including, but not limited to, year-end closing, interfaces between accounting systems, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations, statutory reporting, supporting the coordination of internal and external audits, and supporting the Local and Regional Controllers in providing overall oversight of the three legal entities in Mexico, ensuring that all key financial results are completed and delivered on time at the Local and Corporate levels.
  • Manage all period end closing financial reporting activities in the US GAAP and Local GAAP ledgers for reinsurance area in conjunction with FC to ensure all reporting deadlines are met.

Key Requirements

  • 3-6 years relevant post qualification experience
