The Clinical Genomics Laboratory provides comprehensive cytogenetic and molecular diagnostic testing services for the Maritime Provinces and is the only site accredited by the Children’s Oncology Group to perform chromosome analysis on pediatric leukemia samples in the Maritimes.
The successful candidate will join a team providing genetic testing using state of the art technology, participate in education and research, and maintain an academic position at Dalhousie University.

Base: $93.7998 - $113.3997 /hour; Bonus/Equity: Not specified; Benefits: Relocation assistance up to $5,000 for qualified candidates

Key Requirements
Ph.D. or M.D. with relevant certification
Certification or eligibility by CCMG or ABMG in Genetic and Genome Diagnostics, molecular diagnostics, or cytogenetics
Experience in tertiary care cytogenetics and molecular diagnostic laboratory
Ability to interpret genetic abnormalities from single nucleotide to whole chromosome
Experience with quality management in genomics laboratory
Board eligibility or certification by 2026 if not currently certified
