Job Summary
Responsible for scheduling hospital and ambulatory admissions, coordinating required testing prior to admission and ensuring all information and consents are on site for patient’s admission/procedure.
Arranges types and distributes surgery schedule, communicates problems to Nurse/Physician/Clinical Manager, and employs appropriate and timely use of tasking.
Demonstrates understanding of submission of necessary documents for hospital and patient procedures, and a working knowledge of booking and scheduling inpatient, outpatient and special procedures.
