Job Summary
The Director of Advising is responsible for providing leadership and management to academic advisors, senior academic advisors, managers of advising, assistant directors and/or associate directors of advising.
Responsibilities include supervising the advising unit, assisting with strategic planning, initiating and managing assessment and retention initiatives, and cultivating relationships with administrators and faculty.
The role requires providing academic advising to an assigned population of undergraduate and/or graduate students and maintaining compliance with mandated policies.
