Performs a variety of duties involved in the collection, identification, and labeling of venous and capillary blood specimens from patients for healthcare providers.
Responsible for handling of all laboratory specimens, performs capillary glucose testing, and completes clerical duties associated with laboratory specimen collection.
Demonstrates compliance with corporate, departmental and job-specific requirements and identifies problems related to work activities, including involvement in Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement efforts.
