Kern River Transitional Care is seeking a remote Activity Assistant to support the Activity Director in delivering engaging programs that cater to the needs of residents in a long-term care facility. The role requires a high school diploma, preferably with a year of experience in a relevant setting, and emphasizes strong communication and coordination skills

Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director run a creative and interactive activities program in accordance with current federal, state, local and corporate standards.
  • Participate in planning and conducting of individual, small and large group activities, assist in development of monthly activity calendar and maintaining attendance records.
  • Assist with assessment documentation, quarterly progress notes as assigned by the Activity Director and keep Activity Department clean, orderly and secured.
