Blue Origin is seeking a Director of Supply Chain & Logistics to lead a team focused on supply chain performance within a dynamic, collaborative environment aimed at advancing space exploration. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and analytical skills, with a proven track record in supply chain management and a passion for the mission of safe human spaceflight

Job Summary

  • This role will lead a team of Supply Chain professionals including Supply Chain Program Managers, Buyers, and others.
  • The individual in this role will own supply chain performance within a Blue Origin Business Unit.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience or Master's degree with 7 years of experience
  • Proven ability to lead and manage high performance team
  • Superior communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts
  • Ability to develop and execute project plans within budget and schedule constraints
  • Experience with most Contract Types (Firm-Fixed Price, Time & Material, Cost Plus)
  • Experience in procurement and planning, MRP/ERP planning and transactions
  • Occasional travel required (up to 50%)
