Job Summary
The Staff Pharmacist interprets physicians’ prescriptions, contacts doctors or other prescribers and/or patients to verify information on prescriptions and expedite processing of order.
This position is responsible for dispensing medications within corporate and regulatory guidelines and consulting with patients regarding the use of medications and potential drug interactions.
The role requires adherence to all applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including pharmacy laws and privacy guidelines, and participation in quality assurance programs.

Key Requirements
Registered pharmacist in good standing
Degree in pharmacy (PharmD or BS)
Pharmacy experience
Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
Ability to read and interpret prescriptions
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to learn quickly, solve problems and make decisions
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
