Job Summary

  • The Assistant Programme Officer supports multi-year planning, implementation, reporting and monitoring of activities in a complex operational environment under the supervision of the Head of National Office.
  • This position requires close coordination with colleagues, partners and counterparts to ensure effective delivery of UNHCR’s mandate in the Dominican Republic and Multi Country Office Panama region.

  • Nationality of Dominican Republic or valid work and residency permits for non-nationals
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Experience in programme management and field operations
  • Knowledge of Results Based Management and protection programming
  • Ability to work independently in multicultural environment
