Job Summary
Perform History and Physicals, admit patients into the ICU, write admission orders, lab tests and procedures, and update patient list.
Conduct daily and night rounds in collaboration with SICU Intensivists, involving clinical decision making and following up with daily care plans.
Attend emergencies in the ICU including cardiorespiratory arrests and rapid responses, and troubleshoot life sustaining devices or monitors.

Key Requirements
Adult-Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Critical Care Physician Assistant
Nationally certified Advanced Practice Provider
Currently licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required
At least 2 years of experience in a high acuity ICU setting as ICU Registered Nurse (if newly licensed Acute Care Nurse Practitioner)
At least 2 years continuous experience in ICU (if Physician Assistant)
