Job Summary
It is the responsibility of the cook to manage and operate the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
The cook reports to the Dietary supervisor and must maintain the kitchen and cooking area in a safe, orderly, clean and sanitary manner.
The cook must be able to prepare tasteful meals, follow menus, prepare special diets accurately, and record food temperatures.
