Job Summary

  • It is the responsibility of the cook to manage and operate the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
  • The cook reports to the Dietary supervisor and must maintain the kitchen and cooking area in a safe, orderly, clean and sanitary manner.
  • The cook must be able to prepare tasteful meals, follow menus, prepare special diets accurately, and record food temperatures.
