Must-have

  • Respond to fires and rescue from military aircraft

  • Pass Situational and Behavioural tests
  • Meet health standards including BMI and eyesight

Key Requirements

  • UK or Republic of Ireland citizenship (or dual/Commonwealth)
  • Resided in UK for 5 years immediately preceding application
  • GCSE Grade C/4-5 in English Language and Mathematics
  • Current full driving license
  • Pass Selection Fitness Test and Pre-Joining Fitness Test
