Key Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Health Information Technology or related field
  • At least five years hospital-based coding experience
  • Current certification as CCS, RHIA, RHIT, COC, or CPC
  • Advanced knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems
  • Experience with 3M Computer Assisted Coding (CAC)
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
  • Intermediate computer skills including MS Office
