The Redfern Arts Center Technical Director is responsible for overseeing all technical and production supports, including supervision and training of tech and student crews, while assuring compliance with safety protocols and standards, and preservation of our facilities and equipment.
Duties include serving as Technical Director for Redfern Presenting Series Events, Music Department events, and assisting with Theatre and Dance productions, as well as coordinating with rental clients.
Responsibilities also encompass hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising crews, monitoring equipment condition, performing preventative maintenance, and completing risk assessments.
