Job Summary

  • We are looking for a compassionate, spiritual, and professional person to join the Pastoral Care team, working with the Facility Manager and care team to respond effectively to the diverse emotional, spiritual and religious needs of our residents, and their families.
  • This is a permanent part-time position offering a minimum of 30 hours per week with flexibility in working days and hours, with Monday and Friday preferred.

Key Requirements

  • Recognised qualification/training in Pastoral/Spiritual Care
  • Minimum of 2 units or working towards Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)
  • Tertiary qualifications in counselling, theology, psychology or equivalent
  • Spiritual Care Australia Membership
  • National Police Certificate or NDIS Worker Screening Check within last 6 months
  • Familiarity with Catholic culture, ritual, theology, tradition, and worldview
  • Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
