Job Summary

  • The Business Manager will work as a liaison to the management of the ESSIC Business Office, funding agencies, Partners outside of the University as well as the units throughout campus, including the Office of Research Administration.
  • Responsibilities include efficiently managing and maintaining 30+ sponsored award activities for the department, including initiating Task Account setup, tracking invoicing, modifications, and close-outs.
  • Preparation of sponsored research proposals for the department, working directly with the Proposal Manager and Professional Track Faculty (PTK) to develop research proposals, including preparing budgets and other cost estimates.
