Job Summary
The Plumber performs building trades work in maintaining plumbing and heating, and hot water systems, as well as installs new plumbing and heating fixtures and related components as part of the services provided by the Facilities Management area to maintain University buildings.
Services include overseeing all standard plumbing, heating, and hot water systems work, performing journey level maintenance and repairs, and working in zones to provide daily maintenance support.
The position reports directly to the Mechanical Shop Supervisor and works alongside other plumbers, HVAC mechanics, and trades helpers to ensure a comfortable, safe, and clean environment for the University community.
