This role involves maintaining, servicing, repairing, and installing all HVAC systems including heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration units.
All employees are designated as essential for adverse weather and emergency events, requiring availability during critical situations.

Must-have
Valid driver's license required
Experience with centrifugal compressors
Experience with reciprocal compressors
Diagnose equipment malfunctions
Perform repair procedures
Nice-to-have
Knowledge of pneumatic control systems
Experience with hydronic air handling equipment
Assist with other state agency maintenance
Key Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Three years progressive experience in AC/Chiller installation and maintenance
EPA Type I, II, III, or Universal certification
Good standing with NC Health Care Personnel Registry
Pass pre-employment drug testing and background check
