Job Summary Plan and deliver swimming lessons tailored to children of various ages and skill levels, ensuring participant safety and supporting swimming events and competitions. Responsibilities Plan and conduct swimming lessons for children across different age groups and skill levels to enhance their swimming abilities Enforce pool safety rules and continuously monitor participants to maintain a safe swimming environment Develop and customize individual lesson plans to address the unique needs and progress of each student Support the organization and execution of swimming events and competitions to promote skill development and engagement Required competencies and certifications Hold ASCTA, AUSTSWIM, or NROC certification to ensure professional swimming instruction standards Maintain current First Aid, CPR, and AED training and certification for emergency preparedness Demonstrate strong swimming skills and the ability to effectively demonstrate swimming techniques Preferred competencies and qualifications Exhibit patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to foster a supportive learning environment Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate lesson schedules and events Experience working with children of all ages to adapt teaching methods appropriately
