  • The Institutional Review Board Specialist I reviews research protocol submissions that are minimal risk and Not Human Subjects Research (NHSR) to assure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations and policies pertaining to the Human Research Protection Program (HRPP).
  • Responsibilities include non-committee review of minimal-risk exempt studies and Not Human Subjects Research submissions, making and documenting regulatory determinations, and communicating with researchers.
