Job Summary

  • Support/drive the successful execution of multiple capital projects within our West Point, PA portfolio, including a large capital project ($300M) and supporting the low-segment portfolio of work.
  • Collaborate with design and construction partners, and drive equipment/process selection, design, startup and C&Q through all phases of the project.
  • The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable, and a comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental, vision healthcare and other insurance benefits, retirement benefits, including 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, and compassionate and sick days.

Key Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical) or Science
  • Fifteen (15) years of experience in Process-Equipment Engineering Design or Operational Maintenance
  • 15+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry
  • 10+ years engineering or operations experience related to vaccines or biologics
  • Experience with equipment life cycle approach
  • Understanding of hygienic design and unit operations
  • Experience with capital projects
  • Excellent collaboration and engagement
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to drive and motivate a team
  • Project/time management skills
  • Specification of unit operations, P&ID development, Hazard Analysis, equipment operation, commissioning & qualification
  • Familiarity with chemical handling, biosafety, and containment approaches
