Key Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED plus two years certified law enforcement experience
  • Current valid Arkansas driver's license
  • Certified by Arkansas Law Enforcement Standards Training Academy as Police Officer
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Pass medical and psychological examinations
  • Ability to walk 8 to 12 miles during an 8-to-12-hour shift
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States
