Job Summary

  • Supervises and develops Metallurgical staff, anticipates threats and opportunities to the production forecast, and reviews, recommends and implements strategies to achieve forecast production levels.
  • Contributes to site strategic planning and budgeting efforts for Metallurgical testing and provides guidance and counsel to the site management team on applicable programs, practices and regulations.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Chemistry or related Engineering discipline and seven (7) years of experience
  • Master's degree in Metallurgy, Chemistry or related Engineering discipline and five (5) years of experience

  • Ability to mentor and lead others
  • Demonstrated ability to predict and make production forecasts
