Job Summary
Schedules numerous clinic outpatient appointments, obtains accurate demographic, insurance, and physician information, and pre-registers outpatients in a timely and accurate manner.
Collaborates and communicates with departments and physicians whose services are scheduled, and screens registrations to ensure insurance eligibility and pre-certification.
Assists in identifying self-pay patients and refers them to financial assistance, and assists in the training and development of new employees.
