Key Requirements
Master’s Degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required (for NP)
License to practice as a Registered Nurse required (for NP)
Certification in the area of practice required (for NP)
Acute Care board certification required (for NP)
1 Year experience ACNP or AGANP required (for NP)
Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required (for PA)
1 Year experience required (for PA)
Must have or be eligible for a DEA license
Approved to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in NC
