Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • z/OS mainframe environment proficiency
  • Mainframe Architecture and Operations knowledge
  • Experience with SMP/E, z/OSMF, USS, TSO/ISPF
  • TCP/IP and basic networking knowledge
  • JCL job submission and troubleshooting
  • REXX or CLIST scripting experience
  • CICS administration experience

Nice-to-have

  • API processing knowledge
  • Assembler language understanding
  • Mainframe security concepts
  • SMF data and record format understanding
  • COBOL programming skills
  • VM CMS familiarity
  • GDPS, DFDSS, DFSMS support experience

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • 8+ years professional mainframe software support experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
