Job Summary

  • The Corporate Counsel, R&D and Healthcare Transactions is an individual contributor attorney who performs general legal review, analysis, and advice on a variety of matters in a busy, high-performing legal department supporting a cutting-edge molecular diagnostics company.
  • Independently draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts needed for the effective functioning of the Company, including clinical study agreements, material transfer agreements, vendor agreements, license agreements, distributorship agreements, services agreements, consulting agreements, payor network agreements, NDAs, etc.

Key Requirements

  • JD degree from top-tier law school
  • 5+ years of experience as an attorney
  • 3+ years of experience in a major law firm
  • Experience in biotech, life science and/or health care industries
  • Member of California Bar or eligible to register as Registered In-House Counsel
  • Experience in reviewing, drafting, negotiating and finalizing commercial contracts independently
