Relativity Space is seeking an Avionics Test Engineer II to support the development and integration of avionics components for their Terran R rocket. The ideal candidate should possess a background in mechanical, aerospace, or electrical engineering with experience in high-reliability product development and testing

Job Summary

  • The Avionics team is responsible for the full lifecycle of Terran R’s nervous system, designing, building, testing, installing, and operating the hardware that connects and controls every major electrical system on the vehicle and ground.
  • In this role you will be responsible for supporting the development, test, and integration of avionics Flight Termination System (FTS) components used within the Terran R launch vehicle.
  • A strong candidate for the role combines hands-on test and lab experience with careful attention to detail, is comfortable working with CAD models and electrical schematics, and can effectively execute, document, and communicate hardware testing in a collaborative, safety-critical environment.
