The Intake Counsellor / Caseworker is responsible for the intake, initial counselling, and casework processes for clients in Harbour Light’s Treatment program.
This position requires strong concentration, including attentive listening skills and observation of body language, continuously monitoring the environment, multitasking, data entry, and record keeping.

Key Requirements
Minimum 2 years community college in counselling or social work
1 year frontline casework or counselling experience
1 year direct service experience
Criminal Record Review Program clearance
First Aid/CPR certification
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification
Mental Health First Aid certification
Naloxone Training/Overdose response
Proof of Hepatitis B and Tuberculosis immunization
