The Victory for Veterans program provides free, community-based support for Veterans struggling with suicidality, offering compassionate care from fellow Veterans.
The Veteran Certified Peer Specialist will partner with Veterans to facilitate their recovery and community integration by utilizing their own lived experience and recovery knowledge.
Responsibilities include assisting Veterans in articulating recovery goals, learning new skills, monitoring progress, modeling coping techniques, and supporting self-advocacy.
