Job Summary
The Lab Phlebotomist performs positive patient identification and the collection of various laboratory specimens in an outpatient setting.
Receives and inputs specimen information into laboratory information system and conducts patient/client registration as necessary.
Every effort will be made to collect specimens in the least traumatic manner to both child and family, to include attention to age-appropriate child life issues and pain control techniques.
