Job Summary
The NC Department of Adult Correction is responsible for safeguarding and preserving lives and property through prevention, protection, and preparation as well as the care, custody, and supervision of all adults sentenced for violating North Carolina laws.
Positions assign lower-level custody staff to a particular area or post and must oversee officer activities and performance to ensure the custody, security, and welfare of offenders is maintained.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with State Benefits, located at Craggy Correctional Center in Asheville, NC.
