Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Japanese GAAP compliance
Financial reporting and audit
Tax compliance including Consumption Tax
Month-end close processes
Coordination with external auditors
Microsoft Excel advanced skills
Bilingual communication in Japanese and English
Nice-to-have
Familiarity with IFRS or Australian accounting standards
Collaboration with multinational finance teams
Experience in fast-growing organisations

Passion for innovation and customer-centric service
Key Requirements
CPA, Chartered Accountant or equivalent Japanese qualification
Minimum 5–7 years accounting experience in Japan
Strong knowledge of Japanese accounting standards and tax laws
Strong verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and English
