Job Summary

  • Perform work of a highly skilled and complex nature, under the direction of a journeyman or supervisor, related to the analysis, detection and repair of defects in interlock and control systems, electronic devices, including solid state equipment, computers, solid state communication systems, and instruments.
  • Successful candidate will reside within 1 hour of the Flint Creek Powerplant under normal driving conditions.

Key Requirements

  • Associate degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering Technology, Instrumentation Controls or equivalent
  • 2 years of applicable experience (with degree/certificate)
  • Completion of AEP Apprentice progression
  • Possess the appropriate State driver's license
  • Successful completion of the Power Plant Maintenance Selection System (MASS) test
