Canyonspringspostacute is seeking a Per Diem Respiratory Care Practitioner to perform therapeutic and diagnostic evaluation for patients with pulmonary system issues. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of an Associate Degree in respiratory care, relevant certifications, and at least one year of experience in an acute or subacute setting

Job Summary

  • Perform respiratory/pulmonary therapy, management, rehabilitation, diagnostic evaluation, and direct care to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities, which affect the pulmonary system.
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition, collect, analyze, and interpret data, and plan for outcomes of care.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures, emergency, safety and infection control procedures, and maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
