  • Key responsibilities include assisting nursing staff with assessments and care plans, assisting with recruiting and hiring, assigning and supervising nursing staff, and managing care issues related to residents, families, and advocates.

Key Requirements

  • 2 years experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation, or long term care
  • Registered nurse with current unrestricted license or eligible for registration
  • Experience in managing in a multi-unionized environment
  • Experience with continuous quality improvement / risk management
  • Knowledge of applicable Manitoba health legislation and standards
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
