Job Summary
As a Research Engineer in the New Technology team, you will work on new ideas and technologies, de-risking them and evaluating their suitability for production applications.
This work requires strong technical and interpersonal skills and applies a mindset that values fast learning and frequent re-evaluation of the suitability of concepts to the customer problem.
The CTCT division (a joint venture between Trimble and Caterpillar) develops positioning and control products for earthmoving and paving machines in the construction and mining industries, using technologies such as GPS, optical total stations, lasers and sonics.
