Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Degree qualified in engineering or scientific discipline
  • Knowledge of Siemens S7 PLC configuration and programming
  • Experience with SCADA applications like ICONICS or WINCC
  • Ability to work without supervision in business-critical environments
  • Electrical trades licence qualification highly regarded

Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge of materials handling system controls such as conveyors
  • Experience with barcode scanners and safety devices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Key Requirements

  • Engineering or scientific degree or electrical trade with tertiary qualifications
  • Proficiency in configuring and commissioning variable speed drives
  • Familiarity with HMI's, Scanners, Roller drive-cards, and VSD's
  • Willingness to work 12-hour rostered shift patterns including floating support
  • Valid electrical trades licence is highly regarded
