Must-have

  • HVAC-R systems maintenance
  • Building Automation Systems (BAS)
  • Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Troubleshooting HVAC and refrigeration equipment
  • Preventive maintenance on mechanical systems
  • On-call emergency response
  • Operating electric hand tools

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with centrifugal chillers
  • Knowledge of energy conservation practices
  • EPA certification for refrigerants
  • Familiarity with commercial boiler systems
  • Ability to read mechanical blueprints
  • Experience with Variable Air Volume (VAV) systems
  • Background in industrial building maintenance

Key Requirements

  • Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License (active)
  • Minimum 3 years HVAC/mechanical systems experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years related trade schooling or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and local codes
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
