Job Summary

  • Perform a wide variety of duties to successfully complete assigned Mechanical/Plumbing/HVAC trade tasks and, in the absence of the Supervisor, assist in supervising technicians to ensure the timely, accurate completion of assigned jobs.
  • The Foreperson position is primarily to oversee, assign and on occasions when staffing and schedule require, perform a variety of Mechanical/Plumbing/HVAC duties to complete maintenance and repair tasks.

Key Requirements

  • Five years Mechanical/Plumbing/HVAC experience
  • Massachusetts license in Pipe Fitter, Plumbing, or HVAC
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, sketches, and specifications
  • Experience in new construction, remodeling, repairs, and maintenance
  • Obtain Class I Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator's License within one (1) year
  • Familiar with OSHA safety regulations
  • Ability to use computer-based software tools including CMMS Systems
